Townsgiving

Join CANO, Oneonta Artists & Businesses in proclaiming this season Townsgiving and supporting the efforts of Your Safe Haven to provide hot meals and open their personal hygiene and food pantry to those in need in our community. We are providing local businesses and organizations boxes for Your Save Haven donations, as well as offering drop off opportunities at CANO and Foothills on specific dates.

On Friday, November 27, CANO will host a town-wide celebration called Townsgiving at the Foothills. This event will bring awareness to Your Safe Haven and  celebrate the artistic vibrancy of our community. The event will also serve as a fundraiser for CANO so we can continue our mission of supporting artists, engaging the community and promoting the greater Oneonta area as a culturally essential space in Upstate, NY.

There are so many ways to opt in as a community leader :being a drop off spot for Your Safe Haven donations; supporting the event with a paid sponsorship; providing coupons to be handed out at the event for Small Business Saturday; and offering gift cards as raffle prizes.

Thanks to the generosity of the Foothills, Townsgiving will host a cocktail reception in the Atrium that is open to the community Friday, November 27, 6-8pm featuring meet & greets with artists, discussions about the arts, entertainment, raffles and a space for the community to gather. The event is free with 3 non-perishable food and/or personal hygiene items or a suggested donation of $5-$10 at the door. At 8pm in the Bettiol Theater, entertainment by performers in a ticketed show called Drag Is Love begins will end our evening of celebrating the arts and community.
