—FALL WORKSHOPS AT THE STUDIO—

Wheel Throwing for Beginners with Tim Gargash:

**New: Thursday night session added!**

This 4-week pottery class will introduce adult students to wheel throwing pots. Participants will learn how to prep clay, center on the wheel, and glaze their work. Expect to walk away with a few finished pieces. Class size limited to six. Ages 18+


Thursdays, Oct. 24 and Nov. 7 – 21, 6-9 pm • $130

Wednesdays, Oct. 30 – Nov. 20, 6-9 pm • $130

The Art of Wire Wrapping with Tina Souilliard

This 6-week class will begin with a comprehensive understanding of wire gauges, wire types, and the tools used with wrapping techniques. During the course, students will complete wire-wrapped rings, a “tree of life” pendant, a wire-wrapped cabochon (semi-precious stone), and a wire-wrapped bangle with crystals. For ages 13 to adults.

Workshop: Acrylic Painting on Found Materials with Bella Gusozski

While painting on paper or canvas can yield great results, painting on organic or other found materials, such as wood, feathers, or rocks, can open up a new avenue of exploration. Incorporating the three-dimensional surfaces can foster interesting and creative developments in movement, texture and color use. For ages 13 to adults.

Sunday, Oct. 20th, 2-4 pm • $35

 

Jam Class for Beginners with Jason Starr:

The class will be made up of beginning instrumentalists. Primarily guitar, ukelele, mandolin, banjo, and bass. The actual line-up will be determined by participants and the instruments they bring. The focus of the class will be to learn a few major and minor chords, use those chords to learn a few songs and tunes, and then learn how to play them in a group. The genre(s) of music that will be played in the class can broadly be termed “Folk Music.” For children and adults.

Saturdays, Oct. 26 – Nov. 30, 2-4 pm • $90

 

Fluid Acrylic Paint Pouring with Aja Correll

Fluid acrylic paint pouring is a painting method that uses acrylic paint and a painting medium to create an organic, free-form painting with rich vibrant swirls and cells of color. No paint brushes or art experience needed are needed for this 4-week class. If you can pour, stir, and blow through a straw, you can learn how to create masterpieces you will love! For ages 13 to adults.

Fridays, Nov. 1 – 22,  3-5 pm • $75

 

Paint & Sip (for ages 16+)  with Rebecca Kustin

A fall-themed paint and sip aimed toward those who are under the age of 21. Apple cider will be provided as an alternative to alcohol, while we paint along to pumpkin-inspired art. The perfect event for that period of time right between Halloween and Thanksgiving!
