Wheel Throwing for Beginners with Tim Gargash

Thursdays, Mar. 5-26, 6-9 pm • $130

This 4-week pottery class will introduce adult students to working on a pottery wheel. Participants will learn how to prep clay, center on the wheel, and glaze their work. Expect to walk away with a few finished pieces. Class size limited to six, and pre-registration is required. Ages 18+. For more info, or to register, email: art-education@CANOneonta.org

Jam Class for Beginners

Saturdays, March 21 – April 25, 2-4 pm • $90

This 6-week class for teens and adults will be made up of beginning to intermediate instrumentalists. Primarily guitar, ukelele, mandolin, banjo, and bass. The actual line-up will be determined by participants. Ability to play some of the major and minor chords is helpful, but it’s not a prerequisite for participation. The focus of the class will be on how to play in a group using those chords & playing along with songs and tunes both familiar and first-time-ever-hearing. The genre(s) of music played can broadly be termed “Folk Music.” Pre-registration required email: art-education@CANOneonta.org
