Brent DeLanoy is a writer and photographer living in Oneonta, NY. He received his MFA in Fiction from New Mexico State University in 2006. His writing has appeared in many journals in print and online, including deComp, Sixfold, and The Missouri Review. His essay, “Airhead” was listed as a notable essay in The Best American Essays of 2016 and his novella Benediction, won the A.E. Coppard Prize and was published in 2008. His photography has appeared in The Daily Star and Emulsive and his show “Icelandic Images” was held at CANO in Oneonta in April, 2017. His photograph, “Kirkjufell” recently won a Juror’s Prize at the Cooperstown Art Association’s National Show and another of his Iceland images won the Photographer’s Award at the 10th annual Art By The Lake festival at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown.
