CANO’s monthly “Music at the Mansion” series features a range of musical performances at the Wilber Mansion. Free & open to the public. Donations greatfully accepted. A half hour open mic session, followed by intermission with refreshments available, and then a featured performance. CANO’s performance space in the historic Wilber Mansion, with Kawai baby grand piano, is ideal for musicians and vocalists of all ages and experience levels, performing solo, with accompaniment or in small ensemble.
Lissa Sidoli is an actress and singer songwriter. She began singing and playing guitar as a child with a special love for the folk music of Joan Baez. She began writing her own songs for children as a teacher at the Brookwood School in Cooperstown, NY, where she was the Lead teacher for Toddlers, Pre K and Kindergarten. Writing songs for local theater productions followed. Foothills Theater and Catskill Community Players included her songs in their productions of To Kill a Mockingbird, Tom Sawyer, and Anne of Green Gables. Her song “Hush” was featured at the SUCO event honoring Martin Luther King in 2010, performed by Oneonta students, directed by Jeannie and Greg Langdon. “Soldier Song” was incorporated in the 9/11 memorial event at Foothills Theater in 2011. Lissa is also a wife and mother of 3 sons and lives in Delhi with her husband of nearly 40 years. She is a childcare provider and cook for a British family in Rockland County.
